Abbott Dream Team 2026 selection events
Fresh off a winning 2025 season, Abbott and Real Madrid are launching the 2026 Abbott Dream Team. This is your chance to show your skills on and off the soccer field and be part of a unique once-in-a-lifetime experience for young athletes: Traveling to Spain with Abbott & Real Madrid. When you register, you’ll get the opportunity to experience elite nutrition and soccer training — and compete for an all-expenses-paid trip to train at Valdebebas. Will you join us?
How do I join?
- Eligibility: Male and female US resident soccer players ages 18-19
- Cost: Participation is FREE
- Dates: May 19 - June 9, 2026
- Locations: 6 US cities - see below for specific cities
- What to Expect: Soccer sessions will be facilitated by Real Madrid coaches and local assistant coaches and all participants will learn what fuels elite athletes from the expert nutritionists at Abbott (Real Madrid's official nutrition partner)
- What you will receive: All participants will receive a limited-edition 2026 Abbott Dream Team jersey and branded sports bottle
Selection events will help determine the 16 players who demonstrate exceptional skill, determination, commitment and sportsmanship to be invited to join the 2026 Abbott Dream Team.
Dates and locations
Participants can register for one session per year. Each city will host two sessions (morning and afternoon). Morning sessions will run from 8:30am until noon, and afternoon sessions will run from 12:30pm until 4:00pm (local time). All participants must pre-register for their session. Spots are limited so register only if you are committed to show your skills and participate.

The Abbott Dream Team experience
Those who are selected for the 2026 Abbott Dream Team will travel to Chicago, IL and Madrid, Spain for a once-in-a-lifetime soccer & health experience. The experience will include:
- All travel expenses covered + travel stipend
- Training with Real Madrid coaches at the legendary Ciudad Real Madrid (RM official team training ground) in Spain
- Receive world-class performance nutrition education from Abbott nutritionists
- Participate in exclusive Real Madrid experiences at Valdebebas, the Bernabéu Stadium, and more
